School life was stressful, this wasnât new information, but you just needed a break. You decided to take Friday off since you could just make up any work on the weekend. It was just for a day, no one would even notice you were absent, and you would make up all your work anyway so it would be like nothing ever happened. That was what you thought, but you failed to take into account your history teacher, a Hakutaku, she was a wise and perceptive woman even by monster standards. It wasnât like you didnât know this; in fact, she was the reason why you needed a break.
She wasnât a mean teacher, quite the opposite, she was probably the nicest teacher youâve ever had but thatâs that the problem was. Every time she helped you in class it would invoke another response from her some time in the near future, in the first month of school you had asked her for an extension on a paper and she agreed without hesitation and a week later you seat was moved to the front of the room, not on the sides or even between the middle and sides, she sat you in the exact middle of the row which was the closest a seat was to her.
The day was almost over without any incident when you heard a knock on your apartment door. You hesitantly made your way to the door since you rarely had anyone over. You looked through the peephole and there she was, your history teacher.
âI know youâre in there, honey, open up.â
Her sweet voice made your stunned body move automatously and open the door. Without a second thought she entered your apartment and before you could even do anything in response you heard a click as she locked your door.
