You just wanted to have a normal Friday night after a long week but instead you’re sitting in a bar while your friends try to pick up girls, the opposite of a quiet night. To make matters worse, you have a hard time actually talking to girls and since most of the girls in the bar are collage age, they expect you to come to them making this an awkward experience. This all changes when someone new enters the bar.

From where you’re sitting you see her come in, an older looking monster girl, more of a monster woman really. She seemed to have the features of a moth, wings, fluff, antennae, etc. But she seemed to be different from the other moth girls you’ve seen, normally they orbit around the brightest thing in the room or at the very least look at it, but this one, she seemed to be looking for something in particular and that’s when your eyes met.

You looked down at your glass immediately as you had been unaware that you were staring at her. The time spent looking down felt like an eternity and you wished you could go the rest of the night without looking up, and then out of the corner of your eye you saw her sit down next to you. A few minutes passed and your nerves began to calm down, maybe she didn’t sit next to you for a reason? Maybe she thought nothing of your staring. A woman like her has to be used to a couple of stares… right?

She ordered a drink, and the bartender went to make it, despite him being only a few feet away you still felt as if you were alone with the moth girl. You felt her lean closer to you, you could feel her warmth and the feathered antennae tickled your skin. You felt your heart start to pound out of your chest and just as you thought you couldn’t feel any more nervous she spoke.

“Hey there, cutie, haven’t seen you around here before.”
