Itâs the middle of the night and the only light you have are the beams of moonlight that pierce the thick canopy. You were travelling through the forest after a storm had hit you didnât know how bad it was until you realized that the path had been completely washed away. You thought that there was enough of it left to get by but now that youâre completely lost and in near complete darkness it evidently was not. You did your best to continue walking the path from memory, but your surroundings looked the same no matter your direction instilling a sense of anxiety that you werenât only lost but also walking in circles.
When the moon was directly overhead you heard a howl in the distance. A loud, dominating sound that sent shivers down your spine as if something in your mind was born fearing that noise. Trying your best to avoid running completely blind you speed up and do your best to walk in a straight line through an ever-thickening mess of trees, plants, and fallen branches.
You hear someone running not far to your left and a few seconds later you hear a similar noise to your right and then behind you and then in front of you. Youâre surrounded but you canât see them. You prepare to run but before you can move youâre forced to the ground, and everything is silent. Something holds you down, a large paw presses against your back between your shoulder blades.
You feel warm breath against your neck as something sniffs you. The sound and feeling moves from your neck to the sides of your face over and over again. You donât dare move a muscle as your assailant moves her paw and rolls you over.
A wolf girl stares down at you, her eyes piercing yours. A smile grows on her face and in one movement youâre lifted up and thrown over her shoulder.
âYou walked into my territory, that means youâre mine.â She says as she starts to walk. Itâs not long before fatigue gets the better of you and you pass out with the arm of the wolf girl securing you tightly to her.
