Helo everyone, I live in Glendale. I have been debating whether I should buy a car. I prefer used. I have been living here for years without one. I go to work and I calculated that it would take me 20 minutes by car rather than an hour by bus. (45 minutes in bus and 15 minutes walking). I get off at midnight so I have to walk by myself alone at night to the bus stop. I don't really go out to places but sometimes I go to Burbank, Pasadena, or LA. I always go by bus and never take Uber or Lyft. It takes forever to go to other places by bus and it's a hassle. Like going to the beach would take 2 hours, Disneyland 3 hours by bus. I don't have any relatives or friends who drive, so I never really get to ride in a car. I really want to get out more to other parts of LA and also for my work. Like going to other beaches, like Malibu or San Diego, or going to the mountains for hiking is not going to happen by bus. Should I buy a car?
