Will my old Bloodborne DLC work if I get a new digital version?

I bought Bloodborne at launch and loved it. I eventually got the old hunters DLC when that came out. But now my old ps4 will not read discs anymore :( it works just fine on digital games. I really want to play Bloodborne again before Sekiro comes out but I am not sure if my dlc will work. So my main question is if I buy a new digital version of the base Bloodborne game will the Old Hunters DLC that i purchased for the physical disc work with the new digital one? Or am i better off buying the complete edition?
