Should I get a gaming laptop or a PS4 for Nier: Automata?

Say I only want to play Nier: Automata - my current PC specs are terrible (Intel HD 4400 with i5-4200U) and I'm looking at potentially either getting: Intel 7000 Gaming (~$1000CAD) or a PS4 (~$500CAD).

With a laptop I could get both gaming and all the other things I do with a laptop (netflix, blogging, youtube etc.), so I think it's cheaper than buying a separate console - I don't own any consoles. With a PS4, I can only play PS4 games. And if I do get a PS4, is it worth the extra $100 for the PS4Pro?

Thoughts welcome.

Edit: By laptop version of Nier I mean with the FAR mod, which sounds like it makes Nier an even better experience than on the PS4
