Text notifications different sounds

Hi all, good evening!
I have Google messages, and texts from some ppl have a different notification sound than others even though I hadn't setup any different ringtone and when I look at the settings they show the correct notification. Maybe Im not looking in the correct settings section? Any help would be appreciated. Right now I have to keep an ear out for both ringtones & the 2nd ringtone is set for another app. Smh.
