In light of Jiro's realization of his feelings for Akari and the fact that we are getting a lot of backstory on Shiori and Jiro's early years I really think that the manga is building up to Jiro choosing Akira over Shiori. We don't have the total backstory on Akari yet and just the general tone of the manga is giving me vibes that Shiori's doom (getting rejected by Jiro) is coming soon. They are nearing the last leg of their senior year, and I highly doubt it will continue into college other than just getting glimpses of the future at the end. Also Shiori isn't really one to stand against/fight for what she wants if it means hurting others (Akari). I think here in the next few chapters after we get more story on Shiori and Ommai, that Jiro will choose Akari and the remaining story will be building up to Jiro and Akari confessing near the end of their school year right before or as their marriage practical ends. Then we will get a few chapters of Akari and Jiro dating and their future together. We also have to fit in all of the other characters developments and growth in there somewhere but that is the major jist of how I think things with go. I want to hear what you guys think as I would love some new perspectives to think of while waiting for the next chapters.
