hey, i’m addie, one week post top surgery (joint double incision w free nipple grafts) and i’m having a tough time:

-skin feels so tight to the point it creeps me out and gives me anxiety

-can’t sleep more than 5 hours a night because of the discomfort of my chest and random parts of my body hurt from being in the same position for so long

-can’t stand up straight and getting back pain from being so hunched over every time i go to the bathroom

-i can’t get out of bed without help

i’m glad the drains are out but this is also so hard. i feel trapped inside my body in a way i’ve never felt before.

my question: when did you start feeling even slightly more normal after top surgery?
