Speed difference

Hello everyone! Quick question and hopefully its an easy one! When I run the speed test in the Eero app they're 948down and 949up. When I do it on the speedtest app on the Mac (wifi connection) 122down and 198up. Before I call and make a fool of myself does anyone know the reason for the discrepancy?
I have 1gig fiber service.
