Router has no wifi and is showing a red globe

Router has no wifi and is showing a red globe, the WiFi worked all day and out of nowhere as we were sitting down to relax to watch a show the WiFi went out..I got up and discovered that the router had a red globe...that was at 10:15pm and it is now 11:30pm, I am currently 20 minute into a 50 minute hold for customer service, I have unplugged the router five times and each time it comes back with the red globe.

Any idea what the issue could be and is there anything I can do to resolve it? I NEED Internet for my job and have no idea what to do, the router is an Arris brand if that helps.
