my friends and I recently hang out. I haven’t been hang out with them in a long time since I dropped out college. so, our interaction is pure online but I rarely talk to them online because It’s either I don’t have an energy to socialize or busy taking care of myself.
we hang out last wednesday. I really expect that we would have a light conversation such us how are they, how their student life going, etc. just wholesome convo that a circle of friends would have. But instead of that kind of conversation. they started talking about my life. they lecture me on how to live my life. they said that I should have a concrete plan for my future. they are more concern on what would be my future would look like.
I really appreciate that they are concern about me but the thing is I think when it comes to my future career and goal that is already part of my private stuffs and they should have mind their own business about it. of course I already have a goals in my mind just that I’m just being private about it.
I really think that my friends have the tendency to be controlling. now I want to ask if it is still normal for a friend to get too involve on your life to the point they already prying on your private affairs? I mean that how I felt in this situation.
