Good causes
I think Lance’s reasoning is an adequate response to “PUT ON THE WETS!!!” If they can’t see, they can’t safely race. The tires only help with grip, which isn’t the problem.
Honestly that Gasly onboard makes a red flag very reasonable. Can see absolutely nothing. Sainz crash could’ve been much much worse coming back onto the track
Recovery vehicles come on the track under safety car all the time. If the drivers think this is a problem, which is fair, I think they need to change the procedure to either:
No recovery vehicles until cars are bunched up on the safety car
Or, red flags to bring recovery vehicles on the track in wet conditions
And yet, we have now heard multiple drivers (Stroll, Leclerc) say that the spray was way too bad to race. I wonder what the impact of the new regs is on spray, with the emphasis of directing dirty air (and therefore spray) upwards
What about Leclerc and Stroll saying that they can’t see anything
And the safety car can’t drive safely lol

That was under safety car with all grouped up. If that’s not acceptable to the drivers, then the safety car should be removed and just instant red flag. There’s no other options
