Hello everyone, I play pretty much every fighting game that comes out. I love them. To me this game is no different other then the fact that it severely changes the formula for what makes a fighting game in a good way. But nonetheless it is a fighting game.
For anyone who plays fighting games competitively (as i do) you know that frame data is incredibly important. It is a good tool to determine which attacks are safe, unsafe (punishable), which attacks / actions reset the phase to neutral, etc etc.
With information such as frame data you can determine which attacks are best to use in which situations and improve yourself as a player. For example: I've noticed that after a counter GB both players are seemingly reset. 0 frame advantage for both players. It would be great to know which of my attacks is fastest and the active frames and recovery frames for each option. This would be helpful in determining what to do after a counter guard break.
Another useful way to use frame data is to find out how many invincibility frames your dodge has. I've been playing valk and kensei mainly and i've noticed that Kensei's side step has noticeably more invincibility then valkyrie.
How do you guys feel about frame data? Do you guys play other fighting games or is For honor your first one? Have you ever heard of frame data?
THANKS:)
