Like the title more or less states, I've recently been playing through the HD/3D fallout games for the umpteenth time and having a blast as usual with these games.

but I had some issues getting 3 running properly so I went ahead and played new Vegas first, which I'm not upset about because honestly new Vegas is my favorite fallout game if not my favorite Bethesda title (I haven't played starfield yet, nor have I watched any videos about it) anyway, so I finish new Vegas and then finally get FO3 running correctly with what few mods there actually are for the game, and It's fun as always, but I'm noticing that My character seems to take a LOT of damage much faster than my characters in ANY fallout game.

I'm talking about being level 25 and still a singular fire ant in grayditch takes my health bar down to nearly half, meaning I'm constantly picking up and munching on tons of random food items which also leads to me having to use radaway more frequently than I ever remember. and I'm only playing on normal difficulty, in New Vegas and fallout 4 It seems like I can be a one man army after level 25, but in fallout 3 if I get cornered by one raider with a sledge hammer they can take my health down to almost nothing incredibly fast, and I seem to do fairly little damage to them at all using a combat shotgun, chinese assault rifle, or even a sniper rifle. I'm not using any mods to make combat harder or any mods that add increased damage or anything like that.

it's just a bit weird seeing as I have played this game a LOT of the ps3, and here on PC, but I never remembered having skin like an eggshell compared to the other games. has anybody else noticed this or is it just me.
