SiriusXM - change bitrate down? lower data usage

I hear the app uses I believe 128 bitrate. I would love to be able to change it. I wouldn't mind to lower some of my data usage on the app. I use alot of data coming this app. Some talk shows don't need a high bitrate. Anyhelp would be awesome!

Also. I would love to be able to record while I listen, or easier scubbing when listening on live broadcasts. When you scoll the timing it jumps around too much or fast, unlike using the music app.
