Back of knee pain during elevated pancake fold/good morning with weights
Post Body

Hi there,

I have been practicing this exercise for more than 3 months with good results. I am currently at one yoga block butt off the ground, and when I fold I target another one yoga block I put in front of me. Recently, I have been noticing back of knee pain specific to my left leg beyond 5 -6 reps of the fold, which I do with a 10 pound weight in a repetition format. It is only in my left leg, and almost feels like a vein or sth that wants to pop out/is overstretched. Right now I am afraid to go deeper with my fold because of this, but I am not sure why this issue is arising now after 3 months of practicing. I don't think it is nerve, as I do sciatic nerve flossing as a warm up before all my leg flexibility session. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
