I (27M) am planning on registering for the Honolulu Marathon in December. I have run a few 10Ks in the past but I have mostly been playing sports in the past year and wanting to get back into running again this year. I do plan on doing more 5Ks, 10Ks and Half marathons along the way. Is it an achievable goal? For my training I plan on following Nike Run Club plans which include 3-4 days of running in the beginning. I also lift weights 3-4 days a week. Would I need to follow a specific lifting program or are just normal body building routines okay?
