I am sure this isn’t the only way or the easiest way, but this is what I had around, so this is what I did if you want to do it this way this is what you’ll need…
1 Five pin to all button conversion harness… Can be bought off of arcade, shock, and probably most other arcade websites for around six bucks ……
1 Five pin extender, harness, female on both ends
Snippers or scissors, and wire, strippers, or a razor or a lighter however, you choose to strip the wires ….
There are four ground wires leading to the lever on this stick… You only need to cut and ground one of them… The rest you can spice down I leave a couple of inches on them at least in case you wanna tie back into them later
Yellow from the harness ties into bread from the PCB, at least with my set up here. You may need to do some trial and air and just touch wires together and hit a Direction and make sure that it equates to the direction you wanted to go.
If you do it correctly, you can use the clamp insulators to slide back over the connections you made between the Hornets and the PCB wiring… Otherwise you should use heat shrink… Do not use electrical tape
I should’ve videoed it step-by-step, but I was winging it… Pictures are what the finished product could look like or should look like or it’s just how I did it. You can follow suit if you want to.
