I don’t know why they feel the need to inform me of anything about their life. You are a knitting robot, not a person. Just like how his morning my regular barista tried to tell me something about her dog, and i immediately silenced her and said “MAKE MY COFFEE WENCH.” Or the other day the teller at the bank asked me if I had plans for the weekend. I reported her to her manager for fraternizing when she only exists to count bills and hand me money. She even had a picture of her family on the desk UGH.
And now like the people I watch on YouTube want to tell me about their new home decor? Their new kitten? (uh, yeah, sure, try to play that off as yarn related just because it tried to play with your unwoven ends. Eye rollllll.) And their kid with cancer? Like who needs to know about that. I didn’t come here for personality, I came to watch you tell me when to knit and when to purl and what yarn I should buy. You are not permitted to have a life outside of fiber arts, nor are you allowed to have any interests that do not interest me.
Like honestly, I can’t believe someone forced the inconvenience on me of skipping forward thirty whole seconds into a video to get to the part I wanted to hear about. Anyone want to start an AI generated yarn podcast where there’s no personal anecdotes to be had?
