i think the placement of the couch bothers me because i’m very much into lining things up. with that said, i’d move the entire couch to the right against the wall and put a small rectangle side table on the left to save space so that you can also put a small storage shelf there, too. I would also upgrade your storage to the right of your tv with something neater. Maybe to solve this you could upgrade your dresser to something bigger that holds more? I would also mount the tv so you have more space for art work or plants. I also think you could use some nice curtains.

haha i know what you mean i have like 6 laundry baskets full of clothes and bedding around my room. I figure it’s easy to break up tasks into pieces so you’re not overwhelmed! i’m glad this worked out for you, though!
