Me and a couple friends are decently experienced at modded minecraft, and we're looking to play one of the newer packs. (Mostly because I'm addicted to Create)

We tend to find the standard packs a bit too easy in terms of progressing, and expert mode makes progression better. That said, expert mode can get pretty grindy and we tend to lose steam after a couple weeks.

An extensive quest book/system helps keep us on track and helps us feel like we're 'making progress'

We've played E2E and E6E and found both to be fun, though did not manage to finish them. Not necessarily because they were too hard, we just lost interest.

An extensive quest book would also be excellent.
