Post Body

This would work with any brand really, but I just discovered it on eshakti and had to run over here to share.

I love the idea of eshakti. I found them when I pregnant with my first kid and said I would get a custom dress after she was born. That kid will be five soon. I think it’s because there are SO MANY choices combined with wanting to want to wear dresses and my job not really being a dress job. Slightly more casual. But it could be! With the right one.

I decided I will buy one dress from them THIS WEEKEND. If I can’t wear it to work, whatever. It’s one dress. One thing for me and it doesn’t have to be practical. It just has to be something I love. Not something I would love to be seen in. Not something I wish were my style. One dress that I love for me.

I filtered by fabric because I get sweaty at my job and sweaty polyester stinks. Then I went really fast because you can customize them later.

That’s when it hit me. Oh I’m clicking a lot of green and prints. Didn’t realize I don’t like dark red. Wow, I guess I don’t like wrap dresses even though they look pretty good on me. Not a surprise, everything has a v-neck.

So yeah. Long post to give a tip for something to do to explore your style if you’re bored.

PS I also commit to reporting back about the custom measurements, since if I don’t promise to, I might put it off for another 5 years.
