Here is my booking of what the future of Raw and Smackdown should look like for the next 6 months after Survivor Series.

Royal Rumble

After his big return, CM Punk enters the ring each week talking about how happy he is to be back in WWE and how he loves the fans for supporting him. However, hints are dropped that he may not be as genuine as he sounds. We see him interact with baby faces like Sami Zayn and Jey Uso but he acts condescending to them. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins continues to take shots at Punk and deals with Drew McIntyre, who still wants a shot at his title. Punk comes into conflict with the Judgement Day, especially Finn Balor, who thinks he does not belong there and is taking away his spot.

Meanwhile on Smackdown, Randy Orton arrives to exact revenge on the Bloodline by beating down Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. After hearing of this, Roman Reigns returns to Smackdown to take care of business and him and Randy agree to a match at Royal Rumble. Jey Uso and Randy also start to form a friendship after Randy forgives him for keeping him out of action. The Royal Rumble card has the following matches:

  1. Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre in a last man standing match for the World Heavyweight Title
  2. CM Punk vs Finn Balor
  3. Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title

Punk beats Finn and Seth beats Drew. Roman beats Randy after Jey tries to help against the Bloodline but accidentally superkicks Randy. Randy RKOs him after the match. The Bloodline start to beat down Jey but he is saved by the returning AJ Styles, who plans to exact revenge on Roman.

In the main event, Punk enters at number 30 and ends up in the final two against Cody Rhodes. While it looks like Rhodes may win, Solo costs Cody the match and allows Punk to win the Rumble.

Elimination Chamber

Punk and Rollins finally cross paths after months of tension. Punk gloats about his victory, pretending he had to scratch and claw his way to victory despite having the odds in his favor. Seth blasts him for being a hypocrite and a cancer. However, Seth has another problem as he has to defend his title in an Elimination Chamber match in Perth. Punk decides to sit the event out as he feels he needs rest before Mania. The people start to turn on Punk.

Meanwhile on Smackdown, AJ challenges Roman to a match at Perth. Cody also starts to confront the tribal chief to redeem himself after his loss the previous year. Roman laughs in his face and tells him that after losing the rumble, Cody cannot challenge him in any way. Cody however goes to Nick Aldis and asks for a chance to get Roman at Mania. Nick tells him that if Cody can beat the man who cost him the title at Mania, Solo, at elimination chamber, he can get the match.

Randy Orton and Jey Uso start a rivalry. Randy reminds him that he told him to stay out of Bloodline business but Jey did not listen and that is why Randy is not champion right now. The two agree to a match. The Elimination Chamber card has the following matches:

  1. Seth Rollins vs Sami Zayn vs Drew McIntyre vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Finn Balor vs Damien Priest in an elimination chamber match for the World Heavyweight Title
  2. AJ Styles vs Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title
  3. Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa
  4. Jey Uso vs Randy Orton

Wrestlemania 40

Punk selects Seth Rollins as his opponent for Mania. The two have various promo battles where Punk calls out Seth for not being as big of a star as him while Seth calls him out for being a diva. The two agree to main event night 1 of Mania. Both superstars have been vocal about their disappointment over never main eventing Mania. This match would give them what they always wanted plus it would finally allow the World Heavyweight title to feel almost as prestigious as Roman's title as both titles would be in the main events of their respective nights. Seth and Punk have a massive brawl to end the go home show before Mania. Punk starts to act more heelish throughout the feud.

On Smackdown, Roman and Cody enter a highly personal feud as they talk about their families as well as the successes and failures both have had since the previous Mania. Roman also humiliates Jimmy and Solo for failing to stop Cody from fighting him. Jey moves over to Smackdown to finally end the feud between him and his brother. The two have a very emotional rivalry where Jey calls out Jimmy for not being able to leave the Bloodline and not being able to stop himself from being a stooge. The Mania card would contain the following matches:

  1. Seth Rollins vs CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Title in the main event of night 1
  2. Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title in the main event of night 2

In a shocking moment, Seth beats Punk to a massive ovation as Punk lies in the ring looking at everyone singing Seth's song. Meanwhile, Solo turns his back on Roman and leaves allowing Cody to finally dethrone him and end his record breaking reign.

Aftermath

The next night, Punk officially turns heel by calling out the fans for turning his back on him and berating them for supporting Seth. Later on in the night, he brutally beats down Seth and leaves him in the ring. The Judgement Day come out so Damien can cash in his contract. However, the Judgement Day instead turn on Priest due to him getting pinned at Mania and losing the tag titles. Finn takes the briefcase and cashes it in on Seth, taking his long awaited revenge on Seth. Damien is kicked out of the group.

On Smackdown, Roman wrecks Jimmy for his failures and leaves, vowing to return to beat down Solo. Jimmy goes on his own arc to find out if he can be anything except a puppet for Roman. Cody has a huge celebration for winning the the titles and is congratulated by Randy. However, Randy RKOs him out of nowhere, promising that world title number 15 is soon gonna come true.

There is my rebooking from now until Wrestlemania 40 (and the week after). Please share your thoughts. Thank you for reading.
