Through my experience of the coC's, particularly the more conservative congregations, I have had conversations with members that held views on social issues that I found concerning, if not parallel to the alt-right/neo-fascist movement(s). An example was an older man's views on racial issues. He referred to Muslims as not compatible with American society, and made public comments opposed to Muslim immigration, he later denied he said that. Another man said that those protesting George Floyd's killing should be, "sent back to Africa to run that energy out." Has anyone else ran into these occurrences, concerning racial or social issues? I would appreciate the mention of other's experiences!
