Currently have a delonghi super automatic esam3300 that I'm less than enthusiastic about. From the research I've done it appears that super automatics while convenient, won't produce optimal tasting shots.
I've decided for best bang for buck that the robot plus j max may produce a great tasting, reproducible shot after the initial growing pains. Would you guys agree with this or do you think there's a better alternative?
I only drink espresso & americanos. 3-4 shots per day. And I'd prefer quality over convenience at least for now. Would love to spend less than $1500 for machine and grinder. Also, found a silvia plus rancilio Rocky grinder for. $825 together but it's without PID.
Thanks for the help!
