Portions of the New World have been sold to the Crown of Navarre by the Spanish! Yet, our maps are rendered still as of yet not as complete as they could be.
As a result, Catherine has seen fit to put out an expedition of 3 galleons, to survey and take note of this new land that has been given. Lead by Francisco de Garay (once given to the French and an accomplished navigator / explorer but returned after his use was done), and accompanied by Juan Sebastian (historically circumnavigated the world) as well as Pascaul de Andogoya (a young sailor who historically goes on to become an explorer in his own right), this fleet will take port in Porte Riche and Hispaniola periodically to refill their stores of supplies and sail north, exploring up the coast (of Florida and north of it).
40,000 ducats will be spent to ensure this success, and to guarantee that the expedition is outfitted with the best of the best men, equipment, and supplies.
