I have been slowly moving from plex to emby and kinda made the full move now. The only thought keeping me back has been the clients, and we are talking about shield here, where it looks quite old and unpolished.
Then I tried to sideload the android client (the one meant for non shield) and man how much prettier UI.
It makes me wonder what the downside of running the general android version vs the shield version and also why keep the native apps so ugly when you have a pretty decent running client with a major ui overhaul available?
