Why do I usually hear that bottom airflow RTAs give better flavor than top airflow? I understand that the PURE top airflow of the Pharaoh (for example) is totally useless in this respect, since the air comes in without passing by the coil, but RTAs with SEMI top airflow (Zeus, Dead Rabbit, OBS Nano, Intake etc) actually lead the air from the top to the bottom or sides of the coil, thus theoretically becoming as good as bottom airflow RTAs. Personally, I find unnoticeable difference between the flavor produced by the Pharaoh Mini/ Serpent SMM and that produced by SEMI top airflow RTAs (in relative terms, of course, sine every RTA is different). It could be just me, but I donβt see the point in generalizing about top vs bottom airflow. Any remarks or points I got wrong?
