Leaking light fixture electrocution....
Post Body

This is a emergency inspection this morning at a large hotel chain when a customer was electrocuted.

I have been sitting here waiting to leave so I thought I would share this real quick.

But, supposedly the lady was electrocuted when she was blow drying her hair when the water blew out on the floor/room above and began to leak down onto her from the light fixture.

No, the GFCI didn't trip either....

It's been a while now and they still can't get the water to stop and figure out where it's coming from.

So, they just finally broke down and are having to shut off the main water valve, now that it has made it down from the 4th floor to the lobby check in area.

The important thing is I just heard that the lady survived.

Never a boring day....

Be good 👍

I did not break the water pipe and electrocute someone. I did the inspection.

These pics are from completed inspections.

I am not asking for help to decide on what to do, I have already made my decision.

The questions are just for friendly conversation and your professional opinion(s).
