This is at a final inspection on a new service. The very first inspection of the day. Yayyyy....
It's a "new" but donated and recycled service panel from their uncle's torn down garage.
"Mr. House Flipper" doesn't agree that this isn't correct and that it cannot be used in this manner, was very, very unhappy about the red tag and proceeded to tell me "how big of an asshole I am" 😅
Followed by -
"fuck you, fuck the city, fuck permits, fuck the code, fuck off to all the scam ass electricians, fuck off to manufacturer requirements, and fuck off to you again you dickhead - and get off my property because my gun is right over there and I'm not afraid to use it".
Alrighty then....
I followed his "creative outburst" by "wow, that's impressive, all in one breath" lol 🤣
But, I always go out of my way to explain, help, and guide any resident or contractor as best as I legally am able to - because there is a limit to what I can do. As long as they're equally respectable to me....
So, when people act like this and I have nothing to do with their ignorant decision, and after a countless amount of these horrible interactions, I've learned to walk away with a smile on my face.
It's a great skill to learn.
P.S. - I don't think he has a CCW anymore....
Be good 👍
I did not do this outstanding and brilliant installation. I did the inspection.
These pics are from completed inspections.
I am not asking for help to decide on what to do, I have already made my decision.
The questions are just for friendly conversation and your professional opinion.
