This is at a "tenant complaint inspection" called in explaining that they keep getting shocked whenever they touch anything metal and the apartment owner refuses to have it looked at and fixed if necessary.
I went out right away to see what was going on and to verify it was true. It was, I accidentally tested it myself not thinking about what would happen 🤣 Dumb ass!
She explained that their 2 year old daughter got shocked so bad it burnt her daughters stomach when she bumped into the stove. It was a legit burn and blister on her. It's terrible.
Complete bullshit....
I contacted the apartment owner and he was not happy with the notice to disconnect tag on their service. Extremely pissed off.... to the point I had to call the police to tame the situation down.
Just before he was going to be carted off in handcuffs, he reluctantly agreed to have an electrical contractor out to fix it within 24 hours and also provide a hotel for the families for up to 2 days until it is corrected, inspected, and approved.
This was Friday. We will see how it's going on first thing Monday morning.
Be good 👍
These pics are from completed inspections.
I am not asking for help to decide on what to do, I have already made my decision.
The questions are just for friendly conversation and your professional opinion(s).
