Have you ever worked at a site you thought was haunted?....
Post Body

This post may be different, and many might not believe in ghosts, and that's okay.

So, feel free to laugh, lol 😅

This is at a resale inspection. Whenever a house is going to be listed for sale, many municipalities require a "housing inspection" before the home can be bought, sold, or transferred.

All the individual trades come through and do a very basic, safety related inspection (building, plumbing, HVAC, electric).

I didn't notice on the paperwork it was what we call a "death house" which is where the previous owner had died there in the home.

I usually start resale inspections in the basement and the building inspector came down there a few minutes later.

I said "man, this place has a creepy feeling." Right after I said that, he says "I thought I was crazy, I feel that way too."

So, we continued on, and a few minutes later, we hear foot steps above us on the old, noisy hardwood floors.

Then, the building inspector said "hello, hello.... who's up there?" and nothing answered back. About a minute later the footsteps started again.

I started walking towards the stairway when a woman's voice said "hello?.... hello?.... hello?" spaced a few seconds apart.

I looked at the building inspector and he said "you heard that, right?" and I replied "F' yeah I did." So, I pulled out my phone right away and tried recording what we were hearing.

The video sound quality was terrible so I didn't capture anything worth posting or to even show anybody.... of course, lol.

So, we both rushed through there as fast as possible, getting out of the house in record time.

The building inspector said he didn't believe in ghosts or spirits, but this particular situation "had him confused."

I went back to my jeep and I looked up the BSA history of the house on the laptop.

Sure as shit, both owners passed away there, after being in the home they built 30 years prior.

So, with that being said, have any of you ever had to work in a site you thought was haunted? Do you believe in ghosts?

Let me know in the comments.

Again, feel free to laugh 😃

Be good 👍
