Hi everyone. As we head to cold weather it’s time to think of how to stay warm. I travel with my job and may be in a warm area for half the day such as Alabama but May end or start my next day in say Chicago. I know we all have our ideas of what’s cold and hot and some stay inside. I am stuck in the elements. No matter what it’s doing. I am curious as to what you guys have found to be the best gear to keep you warm and dry.
I am really interested in the Milwaukee heated stuff but I would like honest answers of people who have tried it or the off brands. Also what do you like and hate. I have tried Duluth and carhartt and some things like wool socks are worth their weight in gold. Some stuff like insulated boots not so much.
I can truly care less about a brand it’s more about the function and the durability. Thank you for all you do, we are all pros and tradesmen. Some of us have an easier job and some of us are just starting, but we are all the kings of the trades.
