I recently became the top moderator of this subreddit and I wanted to discuss its future with all of you. You are all the users that make this sub possible and I wanted to be here to answer your questions and to get your input on what direction you would like to see this subreddit go. AMA and give my your input.

I have a fair idea of at least how to maintain the spirit of the subreddit as well as adding some new functionality like flair. An example of one thing I plan on implementing is flair for posts. This way we can mark things as dessert, entree, side dishes and the like. I also plan on adding search filters so you can click on 'dessert' and pull all previous posts flaired as 'dessert'. This will be similar to the flair in AskScience and how you can search for just 'physics' questions as an example.

I see that there are a fair amount of reports of spam on this subreddit, so I would like your input. What would you as the community like the spam to be defined as?

Would you like all recipes to be posted as a comment inside of a post as well as any link? Would you like meals broken apart as 'entree - vegetarian', 'entree - meat', 'entree - fish' and the like?
