So; since nobody took notes at the house meeting yesterday I've decided to make a post simply dedicated to the rules, since that's all I can remember.

Rules:

1) Modern day or relatively advanced (in terms of the time scale we're based in) equipment is forbidden. Flintlock weapons that take a long time to load and are hard to aim are an exception.

2) No forcing RP onto people. If you start to attack someone and they don't attack back its best to assume they don't want to RP at that time. To get a definite answer, simply ask them OOC if they wanna RP. I'd they do, great. If not, there's always next time.

3) No God RP. This spans from anywhere between pulls out sword and cuts off hand to kills Xeno to even explodes killing everyone. The first example, is one that can be broken down in the moment and then the RP continues. You make it so you do pulls out sword, swings sword at Xeno's hand and if the other person doesn't get out the way with an RP line fast enough sword cuts deeply into hand, severing it. I understand that you won't have time for that much detail in a real combat RP, but you must follow the fundamental principle of one action per line. I believe some people are planning on starting an RP school of sorts where they can teach you the basics in a variety of RPs.

4) do not bring in new members to the RP without first getting a character profile from them, giving them an explanation of all houses so they have choice in who they join, and mostly, don't do it without talking to your house members to see if they're fine with the person joining your house. This doesn't mean you can't RP with anyone who isn't confirmed into the house RP, it simply means you cannot have someone to think they can RP as a family member or a house servant when they haven't been confirmed by the house you're in.
