Hey everyone,
I’m feeling pretty down today, and I thought I’d share my experience with you all. I’m a 24-year-old guy from Switzerland, and unfortunately, I didn’t pass my second attempt at the driving test. It’s been a journey of student driving for four long years now, and it’s been quite frustrating.
I seem to consistently make silly mistakes that trip me up. During the test, I missed a 50 km/h speed limit sign in a forest area and ended up going at 60 km/h. Admittedly, the sign was somewhat hidden, and I had never taken that particular street before. It feels like these errors will always prevent me from passing.
The situation has become even tougher because my parents have stopped supporting me in terms of transportation, especially for driving lessons. I live in a very rural area where public transportation options are limited, so this adds an extra layer of difficulty.
My driving license was supposed to be a ticket to independence, and it’s disheartening to face these setbacks. I’m starting to doubt if there’s any way I can improve and finally pass the test. At this point, I’m contemplating giving up altogether.
I’m reaching out to this community for advice and insights. Has anyone else faced a similar situation? How did you overcome constant mistakes? Is there hope for improvement, or should I seriously consider quitting? Your input would mean a lot to me.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
