Medical indemnity - can any docs who have moved to Aus offer advice?

Post Body

I currently have an MPS policy from working in Ireland, but have moved to Australia and am due to start work soon. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/ can shed light on whether it is more sensible to transfer my current policy to a new country, or to just open an Australian indemnity policy and let the other run out. There is some Australian DOH-run indemnity baked into my contract, but would also like a private policy for peace of mind.

Edit; Thanks for the advice everyone!

MIPS have been great in my experience of a vexatious AHPRA referral. Would definitely recommend if this is an option.
