Hey guys. So I'm late to the show and just listening to all of Distractible in a binge. I just listened to the life plans episode.... and I'm sure this has already popped up, but i still have no idea what i want to be when i grow up. i'm 37 this year and the world has screwed over the majority of people... makes it hard to have dreams and goals.
i had tons of dreams growing up. I wanted to be an inventor at one point, a music producer (which i went to school for and graduated) and once i started working i ended up in customer service and retail. so now i dont have any major skills to improve by leaps and bounds to try something weird and do a start up or something. not to mention with not being employed or being in debt, any confidence i should have had to do something risky is gone.
Sorry for the rant and depressing post, but... what is everyone else's situations and what would you do differently to try and do something cool?
