Dear bestie!

I know we haven’t met yet, but I just want you to know that I appreciate you reaching out to me after reading this letter more than you know.

When you read this letter I was at a stage in my life where I started opening up 1 year after my last breakup, it was a very toxic relationship. But after the relationship I’ve put my walls so high, that I didn’t get close to anyone else in my life. So you reached out to me at the right time, just when the black and white life started to get back it’s colours.

I am reaching out to you initially not for anything serious, infact I’m just looking for a friend with whom we share some benefits. But we became more than just an fwb, we share moments of laughter, we watched so many movies in the theatre(well about that, we definitely did watch the same movie again in OTT because the cinema hall was just too cosy to focus on the movie haha), we found so many cool cafés and parks in bangalore, we’ve spent the nights at each others places and we took some places to spend the night cauz a change of scenery won’t hurt(but it was definitely “warm” and cosy). I’ll tell you I wouldn’t give those memory for anything in this world, but ofcourse it stays between us. Just you and I.

Those days where we just sit with a cup of the drink of our choice and just listen to the songs from each others playlist were some of my favourite memories. Our taste in music or movies or shows where different but when we are together we appreciate the differences, no we embrace the differences dearly. With you I was able to become my true self, I didn’t have to hide anything and just be me, be FREEEEE!!!

With you even just waiting in a queue to bill the purchases was fun. With you just walking in the church street while singing our fav songs while listening the same with my earphones was so much fun. Let’s not forget all the pani puris we had.

Now, I won’t forget all the naughty things we do either, the good ol strip or dares or roleplays or other fun stuffs we play. I won’t forget how adventurous we were either, how we conquered everything from bedroom to cinema hall to beach to hills and everywhere we planned on doing it. Not to forget those times when we played with some toys either. Doing it with you was like a smooth cosmic dance, it was the best feeling I’ve ever had. I think with you I will never get bored of it.

Dear bestie you have seen me at my lowest and you were there for me, I loved how we were there for each other. I want you to know just how amazing you are and you are one of the best things to ever happen in my life.

It’s funny how our first interaction is a letter to you in the future, but this letter is what’s gonna connect us now.
