First, I want to make it clear that I'm ONLY into women, so attempts of sexual interest by men will be blocked and/or ignored.

Ok. So I've been using this forum for over a year, and here's what I've learned from my experiences since I first started.

Always ask for verification. I understand if people don't want to show their face, but some sort of verification goes a long way to making sure you're not getting catfished or scammed. Feel free to get creative here. Ask for a regular photo, then another with a pose you specifically gave them, or whatever you can think of, but keep it simple. Return the favor though. If the person on the other end is real, they probably also want to be reassured. Some will offer photos, but they'll obviously be a model, pixelated, photoshopped, or a combination. Don't fall for this.

New accounts are probably scammers and/or catfishing. There's a reason some accounts only hunt for karma beforehand; it's so that they're allowed to post on certain subreddits. Some posts on here may also say "pics on my profile" and the picture was posted minutes before the post was. Immediate red flag.

Older accounts claiming to be women with tons of posts on this subreddit are men. Why? Because women on this subreddit get immediately thirsted on with tons of messages. There's absolutely zero reason a real women would need to post constantly here.

Accounts that have nothing but old memes posted on certain subreddits (I'll keep them unnamed here) are scammers/catfishing. Going back to the whole trying-to-get-karma thing I mentioned earlier. Doing this is an easy way for these accounts to get that. You'll tend to see the same memes posted on the same subreddits for these accounts if you look long enough.
