Help! I Need Ideas For Theme Day!

If you don't already know, DPP has wonderful theme days on Wednesdays. The calendar is often in a sticky at the top of the hot page, but can also be found in a link over there on the sidebar. ->

This week's theme is "Bad Movies." I'll admit, this is one where the ideas didn't come to me easily. When that happens I usually start by Googling the topic. Let me tell ya, after that the ideas started to flow.

"Plan 9 from Outer Space"

The classic "bad movie". No acting ability, no budget, incomprehensible plot, this one has it all. Plan 69 anyone? I mean seriously, someone has to do it.

"Batman & Robin"

Something something costumes with erect man nipples. Oh and puns, lots of bad puns.

"Justin Bieber: Never Say Never"

Or any "documentary" of an actor/musician/etc. This one is for the celeb role play fans.

"Super Mario Brothers"

Or any poorly made video game translated to the big screen("Street Fighter"?). This one is for the Rule 34 fans.

You could go the Mystery Science Theater 3000 route. That could be very meta.

Or take any silly moment from an otherwise decent movie and expand on it. "Scary Movie" and its many sequels have been doing this for years. Think spoof, think parody, but make it sexy!

So now it's your turn. Have an idea you want to share? Want to bounce ideas off of your fellow DPPers? The ultimate goal here is to spark some ideas for those that want to participate in a theme day but haven't found their inspiration.

Disclaimer: If I insulted any of your favorite movies, sorry. I actually haven't seen the Justin Bieber one. I'm sure it is a fine piece of cinema history.
