I close my eyes

It all began last night when the 4 of us were together.

Lisa told us we would be caught, but Chloe insisted.

I lost the bet apparently, so I had to go in there with her.

Just the two of us

I’m pretty sure she cheated because she wanted me to go with her

“What are you doing?!”

I opened my eyes again as Chloe pushed me from behind

“Don’t get cold feet now”

She kept pushing me and we slowly sneaked past the dark blue lockers.

Lightly stepping over jerseys, duffelbags and equipment thrown on the floor.

The air was warm and damp

I looked at the mirrors; they were all foggy so you couldn’t see around the corners

“What if we get caught?” I whispered, but Chloe just kept pushing me in front of her

The high humidity in the room made my skin and all my clothes soaked

I kept pulling the fabric of my t-shirt as it annoyed me it stuck to my skin

“Fuck You shouldn’t have worn a white t-shirt” Chloe grinned, covering her mouth

I looked down

Shh! I said, and she started pushing me again

We reached the wall splitting the shower room from the lockers

They were just behind this stack of bricks

I closed my eyes again

”Why are we doing this?” I had asked Emma

”Because they are fucking hot, and we need to know this!” She would laugh

I couldn’t comment on it, or Chloe would start picking on me for being a chicken again

“Can you see anything?”

Chloe pushed me again and I opened my eyes

Shh! I motioned for her to stop

I tried to look around the corner, using all my focus on moving as slow as possible.

“Did… Did he just say your name? Oh fuck he did!” Chloe exclaimed

Shh!! I looked quickly back at Chloe

”WHO’S THERE?”

My eyes opened wide

Chloe mimicked the word SHIT as she began laughing

“Are you ready?” She whispered

But before I could answer, she pushed me

I stumbled back and slipped on the small step that lead into the showers

I somehow turned around and fell down on my knees

I looked up and there they were

If it wasn’t for the sound of the showerheads still running, I was sure you could hear my heart beating like a drum………….
