Hey Y’all! With football season coming to an end I thought it would be really fun to try this prompt. It’s one of my faves and has so many different options. I’d love to find someone else who would enjoy it! Ideally someone with some working knowledge of college football!

I’m Sarah. 38 years old. Married for 12 years. I’m short, barely reaching 5’1”. I have a chubby, curvy, mombod figure. I’m a brunette, with dark brown eyes. I’m your typical preppy, southern, soccer mom. You’d probably see dozens of women like me at PTA meetings or on another run to Target. On game days I’m usually wearing something cute but comfy; a dressy Alabama tank top over a khaki skirt or a crimson and grey sundress.

My husband is a huge Alabama football fan. He graduated from there and lives and breaths all things Crimson Tide. I never really followed it super closely but, growing up in a Tennessee, I mostly cheered for UT. After we met and got married I guess you could say I married into it. I didn’t mind his obsession but at times I thought it was a little much. But I enjoyed going to games and tailgates.

It’s a warm early Autumn day. The tailgaters arrived early. Filling their tents with mountains of food and tons of coolers filled to the brim with ice cold drinks. The campus, or neighborhood, is abuzz with excitement over the day’s game. I’m keeping busy with my hostess duties; filling drinks and making small talk while my husband crowds around the tv with his old fraternity buddies. My idea is we’re at a party or tailgate and meet. We chat, flirt, hit it off; really connecting somehow. The only thing is you’re a fan of a rival team. Doesn’t have to be a conference rival; ideally it’s someone you really cheer for! I feel like the passion and intensity of southern college football could really make for a fun and exciting story. I’m fairly open about the location. Could be our house, an RV, anything really. I’d love to hear any ideas you may have or want to add.
