I have only met a few women in life who have left an impression that stayed with me. In past years I did not fully understand the value of these connections. Perhaps I thought they were random, or just a product of the circumstances of the time, I don't know.

Now, I see these connections as far more valuable. Now they seem to be product of some kind of special compatibility that I sensed and that was reciprocated. To use that phrase, we had the right vibe, chemistry or we just clicked. I have come to the conclusion that you only meet a certain number of these special people in your life, and that you should cherish each one and keep that connection alive.
My life is fairly settled, stable in many ways but also without much change. I move in an environment in which I am less likely to meet someone new and make one of these special connections. That is what has led me to post here. I would like to broaden my horizons and find someone I click with on a very deep level. I am hoping to find someone with whom I can exchange personal thoughts, talk about what moves me, someone who will come back to my mind when I let my thoughts drift.
