The past few months have been extremely difficult for you, and life has just been an absolute slog to get through. For one, you’re pretty far along in pregnancy; you’ve been lumbering and waddling around with a much bigger belly than usual, and you just feel a dreadful feeling of being dreadfully klutzy and unattractive.

Adding to the “unattractive” part, your baby daddy (who everyone thought would help you raise your child) got cold feet and backed out, going as far as moving out of the state to avoid physical contact with you or your friends. Your entire friend group all took turns comforting you in how much sorrow this caused you — endless pity parties where you weren’t alone in crying, as some of your friends were overcome with sadness and wrath, sympathizing with your difficulties.

As of today, although it’s been almost three months since that dirtbag flaked out on you, things still have you feeling unsure and queasy for the most part. You’ve come to *Jack’s** house, hoping to talk out your problems with him and just decompress about life.*

He opens the door and throws his arms around you, gently embracing you as you start to weep. “Shh, it’s going to be alright,” he says. His presence is very calming and assertive all at the same time — something your baby daddy lacked tremendously.

My goal here is to develop a relationship with our two main characters: you, a young woman whose been left while being in late pregnancy (later than 6 months) and your friend Jack, one of your few male friends whose heart burns with compassion at seeing your suffering. Will they fall in love? Will they have steamy pregnancy sex? It depends how we go about this tale of ours.

You can write in either first or third person — whichever one you prefer more.
