It's not unusual for men to want to participate in the yoga classes the gym offers, it just so happens that in this particular class there's only one man, me.
I started attending the class recently to help with my flexibility and breathing control. So far, it's been great. I have noticed there aren't any other guys in class and that makes me feel a little weird. I don't mean to, but sometimes I end up staring at someone and have to remind myself to not be a creep and avert my eyes before something happens.
After the last class the instructor makes an announcement that starting next week we'll be pairing off to do some assisted positions and you can see several of the women in class walking over and chatting with someone else, partnering up.
I don't try, I just head out to the showers and get ready to leave. We'll see what happens next week.
