How do I get a TV that isn't going to show me ads and be bloated with bullshit?
Post Body

Really I just need a TV that I can plug stuff into. I don't need streaming services, I don't need a home assistant, I don't want so see a single ad, all I need is to be able to plug my laptop in and my switch and have it show up on screen, and have a good resolution.

I recognize that TVs nowadays pretty much only come in the smart variety, so I'm not going to bother trying to find one that isn't smart, however I just want to know that it will never show me ads, that when I never connect it to the internet, it won't find some way to put ads on the screen, or constantly need to be updated or whatever the fuck.
