How do you tell what is anhedonia and what is a personal failing?

I donāt want to do anything. Things I used to enjoy, things I need to do, either one. All I do in my free time is lay in bed with my eyes closed and listen to a YouTube playlist Iāve probably heard before.
How do I know if this is something that can be fixed with meds or something that I just havenāt put enough willpower into changing? Iāve been through a few different meds now and nothing seems to change. But I also canāt just āmakeā myself do things. Idk how.
