Back from my 1 week post op appt. All my stitches came out during the past few days. Pain is almost gone except my right rear lower molar that took 25 minutes to remove.
I am questioning in my head now why they removed it. The Air Force literally did a number on it 30 years ago when they root canal/capped it. I think it would have made a good anchor tooth for my lower partial.
Had my partials adjusted as well. They trimmed some off my upper that was rubbing into the gum where there was some bone, making it hard to bite down without pain. Much better now!
The lower has some material trimmed that was digging and/or rubbing into the lower right gum area. The lower left gum area was fitting good. That lower right molar area is still pretty tender so I don’t have to wear the partial if it’s still painful.
Attaching a pic as well after the appt. Sorry I don’t smile well, just never got used to the whole smiling thing, LOL.
